Bula Bug would like to announce our partnership with Wild Child Outdoor Photo Camps! This is a very exciting partnership. Together, Bula Bug and Wild Child will be holding Photo Contests that include Local Children’s Nature Photos taken around the Greater Sacramento Area as part of the Wild Child Photo Camps, along with other photos taken from children around the world. The contests will be open to the public giving you a chance to give your input and vote for your favorite photograph.  We will release more information about prizes, dates of contests, etc. soon.

Wild Child Outdoor Photo Camps teach children to use digital cameras to explore the outdoor environment. Many fun camera tricks and tips are introduced including using the macro features for insect photos, composition of landscapes, and lighting for portraits.  The Camps are led by Rita Gordon, founder of Wild Child Outdoor Photo Camps, she provides a 12.0 megapixel digital camera for use during class.

Founder of Wild Child, Rita Gordon, and Bula Bug Founder Brandee Mae Hughes have very similar missions. They both want to see more kids outside exploring. The Nature Photo Contests for Children will be open to all children worldwide, encouraging children to go outside and take photos and encouraging parents and friends to vote for their favorite image. The child photographer of the winning photo will also receive a prize (to be announced), along with being announced and featured on the BulaBug.com website.
