The Children’s Eyes On Earth International Youth Photography Contest 2012 is a contest to raise awareness about important environmental issues, as seen through children’s eyes. The themes were I Love Nature and I Fear Pollution, and contestants were asked to share their experiences and help promote an understanding of some of the challenges facing our planet. The Contest, along with the international Festival and Exhibition that follows, is a great platform to inspire families, business people, decision-makers, politicians and others around the world to take action.

The morning dew series by David Chambon is amazing. David is a french photographer who’s goal is to capture the magical beauty of nature through his imagery. This particular series of photographs is simply breathtaking. Dew droplets look like tiny jewels, making these bugs look like jeweled marvels. To get the shots, he ventured out early in the morning, and photographed insects perched on flowers and leaves, paralyzed from the morning dew.
